Third excursion to "Cottage Grove Lake," (2 miles beyond the,
[Akson?]). It was a Presbyteran Sunday School
Picnic. We had a pleasant drive and returned
very weary. There were about 300 of us.
Uncle and Aunt insisted on me to let Jennie stay there
during vacation and I told him she might try.
[Richie, Archie?], came home on Thursday after some clothes
and medicine, and returned immediately. They
are arrainging to go out on the Lake on an
M. E. S. S. Evanshorn on the 24th and I have fear
of an accident. I took Jennie to see H., week before
last, for an examnation and he finds an
improvement since the last examination and
he is treating her for her cough. He is so very
kind and I am ashamed to think we pay
him so little. I wished last night, when I called,
that I could give himself, [illegible], more than a dollar.
I went to see him on Katie's behalf more than
myself last, [case]. I will tell you all about it
but, don't you worry, nor say one word.
