Dear cousin:
Your kind favor
before me. Had looked for a letter
so long and sad entirely, [?],
[?], up but was agreeably surprising
on receiving, [?]. I have not heard
from Alice for some time. Don't
know why she don't write.
Am glad to hear aunt is better.
[?] She may get all her troubles
adjusted satifactorily. Surely, you
must have been very busy at home
to attend so many fairs. I have
not been in a fair for ten years.
There is no attraction at such
gatherings for me. I went to
