you and, after coming home from there last spring, I called you on the phone, but was told that you had left, [?], and gone on to Colorado Springs and later, [?], you had gone on to California. Supposing that you are yet there, I will send letter and hope that it may reach you. My object is unt, [?], you, [?], so this. For some time. I have contemplated a trip West. I had thought of either going to Colorado or later to California.

Now, I would want to spend a couple or three months there, but, in case I should like it, and find that I was much benefitted, I might want to stay a year. I would like if you would tell me frankly if you think there is a good chance for a nurse while there to get work enough to pay her expenses. At least, I mean, in case I could like to stay for some time. As you well know, necessary

Have some friends in Los Angeles. but am not, [?], some of the address. Now, Mrs. Hastzell, I will not write more now but, if this letter reaches you, I will regard it as a great favor if you will give me any information that may help me and will then write further to you.
