Cousin Edith:

Don't be alarmed. Don't
get nervious and all worked
up now because I am writing
you this, [sheet?], and saw little
letter but, it is a fact I am
doing it. If you don't believe
me, write me and find out,
and it ain't because I have
nothing to do, but jest because
I am doing it. We are all alive,
including, [Geek?]. Also, well that
good news. I am sure, at least, it
is to me. We received you papers.
Thank you, that must be glorious
country out there, almost makes
me homesick or some other
kind of sick but then, there ain't
room out there for everybody,
