thot [thought] they could sell Andy to
some Japs for $75.00, if I said
so, and Japs wanted him to bring
Colt over & they were so busy,
so I let him take him. (tho [Though] it
made me most heart sick),
but he brought him back
as one. Jap had gone away and the
other was asleep. They had a
Jap horse Dr. there who looked
him over & said "very good
horse." Japs said they'd come over
this eve to see him, so I don't
know what to do.

Andy Dandy troted, [trotted,] off beside
his mother with one line on
him just as tho he'd been
driven every day all his life.
He is so gentle.

Gee! How the people are flying
by to the election. Some are
waving to the girls who are out
on lawn, most of time, today.
We mowed the lawn last night
& Helen & Alice have raked & cleaned
up front & it look, [looks], fine.
