8) we expect to have a big mess
of Kentucky wonder beans out
of our garden tomorrow. Wish
you could have some.

Do you and Mr. F. want some nice
tomato plants?

Alice churned some butter today.
On way home from Angus potato
patch, we called on the Bowman
family and Grandma, tho, [though], feeble, took
me out into the orchard to see
some of the fruit, cherry plums
ripening, and oh, what a sight. Trees
just loaded.

Oh, Miss Wilson got the appointment
this wk., [week], for Post Mistress for which
I am glad.

Wonder if we could ever raise
$11.00 in money to pay on that
gov. land if we don't resell some
or wanted to keep it. Mr. Webb
will want his $20.00 option money
July 1st. A man wanted him to
tell him where it was other day
and he wouldn't tell and, quick as he
could take option on it for, [Fec.?],
I'd loose it. Good bye.
Much love,
Dedie.
No letter for several days from you.
