Ft. Kamehameha Dec. 28, 1921

Dear friend:

Received your interesting letter while away on a trip with the company. We were supposed to do some observing for the 5.5.th Artillary, [Artillery], but it rained most of the time. As we have now been separated, I don't get to see Dale very often. I suppose he is still happy as he always is. Nothing seems to worry him and always is joking.

Tomorrow is an inspection, so I must bring the letter to an, [send and clean?], what -- ?

As ever a friend,

Carl Albers
