I don't know when this will find you but will address it to Uncle Toms.

All join in love & best wishes to all the family. Also, remember us to Uncle Bill and Aunt Molly as well as our other relations and friends.

of the S.S. and Charley was re-elected Treasurer.

I read a short time ago that the casino and bridge at Schenley Park had been destroyed by fire. I suppose it was quite a panorama to the folks at under Bill's.

Under Bill sent Alice a letter book entitled "The secret of a happy home," full of good advice for young couples as well as old couples - at least so I judge by the index, for I haven't read

Dear Friend

Well I suppose you think I have forgotten you, but not so. I have been "going to" write many times but -- well you know how it is!

we had rain yesterday as well as today so I could not go skating or bicycle riding.

I received yesterday a photo of myself on my bike. One of our young man [men] has a Kodak and took a snap shot at me as I rode toward him.

We had a very pleasant Christmas. Some friends spent the day with us, and Charley and I went to a party in the evening -- of course now that she is married, Alice does not indulge in parties.

I suppose the folks were somewhat surprised to hear of the wedding, as the notice in the paper stated it was a "quiet" affair. Outside of the two families, there were present the minister and his wife and two young lady friends of Alice's, one of whom was bridesmaid. Father and I gave Alice a gold watch for a wedding present. Father also gave mother a gold watch for a Christmas present.

I hope you as well as all of our relatives and friends in Pitt had a pleasant Christmas and all join heartily in wishing you a happy New Year.

I hope Uncle Tom will find it a happy and prosperous year. We were all very sorry to hear of [[inserted above]: his]] misfortune and hope he is even now able to see brighter times ahead.
