Mr dear:

I have told Jack that he must acknowledge the little box you sent him and thank you, but he does not seem to get at it, so I will do so for him.

He is doing wonderfully well in his studies. Is at the head of his class in everything, and his teachers are more than proud of him. He wants a little dictionary at school and one at home, and that reminds me that my large one is with you. So I wish you to please send it by express, C. O. D., to 2039 Shattuck Ave., Berkeley, as soon as possible. We should have had it long before but I have been too busy to write for it. History and geography, he just devours. He never sees anything new when he is out but, what he remembers to ask me about it and get all the information he can when he gets home.

Suppose you are very busy this spring.

With love from both,

Katherine and Jack
