In Spark's Washington IX. 281 is a letter from W. to Samuel Vaughan, 12 Nov 1787, as V. was about returning home. It speaks of a plan of the house sent by V. to W. — no doubt a copy of this — & N's remarks on it.

The scrap of paper pasted in at this place is a list, probably, of the children of Mr Benjamin Vaughan, son of the writer of this journal, who came over to this country the year in which the memo was made, 1796, & who died at Hallowell in 1835, [ae?], 84. The list contains the several ages & weights of the children at this time - 1796 -
