The Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University has been engaged in collecting temperate woody plants since its founding in 1872. Its Library and Archives hold a rich collection of materials related to this collecting, including the archives of Ernest Henry Wilson, our greatest collector. We offer over 40 items from his collection for transcription here.
