FAMILY RECORD. MARRIAGES

Hosea Ballou and Ruth Washburn were lawfully joined in marriage on the 15th of September A.D. 1796.

Hosea Ballou died on the 7th of June 1852. Aged 81 years 1 month 7 days.

Ruth Ballou died on the 1st day of March 1853. Aged 74 years 5 months 14 days.

Hosea Ballou, son of Matturean Ballou and Lydia Ballou, was born in Richmond {New Hampshire} on the 30th of April 1711.

Ruth Ballou, wife of Hosea Ballou, and daughter of Stephen Washburn and Sarah his wife was born in Williamsburg {Massachusetts} on the 17th of September 1778.

Fanny, their daughter, was born in Dana {Massachusetts} on the 13th of October 1797.

Hosea Fraton their son, was born in Dana on the 4th of April 1799.

Massena Berthier, their son was born in Dana on the 28th of Nov 1800.

Cassendana their daugh ter was born in Dana on the 9th of January 1803.

Mandana their daughter was born in Barnard {Vermont} on the 17th of September 1804.

There followed two still born males; and one female who lived but one week.

Then in Barnard {Vermont} Elmira Ruth, their daughter, was born in Portsmouth {New Hampshire} on the 3rd of April 1810.

Another daughter was born in Portsmouth on the 31. July who lived but three days.

Clementina, their daughter, was born in Portsmouth on the 10th of July 1812.

Fiducia, their daughter, was born on the 1st of May 1814.

In Boston lost an infant Son Maturin Murray, their son was born in Boston on the 14th of April 1820.
