Mark {Chapter} 4.12. "Lest they sh- be con-
verted & yr Sins sh- be forgiven
them -" So the word heal is used in
divers other places - when Hezekiah
praised, yt God would pardon ye {people}
it is said, the Lord hearkned to Heze-
kiah & healed ye {people}. God promises
& create peace to him yt is afar off &
to him yt is near, & I will heal him.

//Healing, or pardon, when applied to
particular persons, signifies a dis-
charge from guilt, & from yr liableness
to eternal condemnation - When
applied to a {people} or community,
it signifies a release from public
{Judgements}
, from those calamitites {which} were
ye fruits of Sin - the word health
is often used in ye Prophets for the
removal of public {Judgments} & resto-
ration of general health & safety -

1. We are taught ye absolute
necessity of conversion in order to
the long reach of Sin - Convert
& be healed.
Without conversion there
is no healing - no salvation
- Sin is ye disease of ye Soul - it is
in Scripture often compared to sick-
