may be said to be brot out of dark-
ness into light, even tho no new truth
is added to yr former stock of doctrines

before know now appear to you in
a different light - Things {which} once
looked doubtful, now appear certain -
- Things yt passed for trifles are now
regarded as important - Things {which}
they used to think upon now & then, (but seldom) now
dwell upon your mind - Things {which}
they would talk about lightly, now af-
fect them sinfully - Sin appears
sinful- the O vain - X appears precias
& heaven desireable. {Judgement} is regarded
as certain; and hell sounds dreadful -
- The scriptures are now received as
ye word of God, & (as) containing truths
of ye highest moment & concern -
