I Refer you to him for all matters stirring here, & hope his Visit
to you will Establish an agreeable Correspondence with you. ~
I Beg the fav[ou]r of yo[u]r best advice & asssistance, & that you will
in all Respects grant him yo[u]r Countenance. Should Mr
Bowes have occasion for money at any Time, I pray you
will please to Supply him with what Sum or Sums he may
apply to you for even to the Amo[unt] of one Thousand or Fifteen
hundred pounds Sterl[in]g, w[hi]ch Charge to my Acco[un]tt adviseing
me thereof. I shall by next opportunity Transmitt you some
Remittances as I would y no ^not by any means put you to the in=
=convenience of advancing for me, when I can possibly
avoid it, tho' it will sometimes happen so, & when it does, I
am ever Disposed to make every Satisfaction, but Consider[in]g
the Extent of my Business, I hope you will think I do pretty

I hope the Brig[antin]e Harrison is safe with you
& that her Cargo met a good Markett. I shall also
be glad to hear of the Brig[antin]e Industry.

I intend next year to Enter a pretty large
Concern in oyl, Bone & Pott ashes of w[hi]ch I have wrote you,
you will please to give me your opinion.

I must Refer to my next, being now Reduc'd
to the Even[in]g to finish my Letters, & am Determined Scott shall
sail early in the Morning, shall soon write you again, when
you may Rely I will Close & send all Acco[un]tts between us. -
