Sirs

I duly recd your favrs of 23d. Jan:y 9th Feb:y & 25th
April advising of the receipt of the two Bills I remitted you on Accotb. my nephew
Wm. Smith Esq:r for £400 & £100 Sterling, note the former was accepted & the
latter paid & pass'd to his Credit, suppose the other must be paid also, as [you] I have
heard nothing further from you abt it since. I now enclose you Edward Jordan's 1:st
Bill of a sette of Exchange dated Boston Sepr. 12th 1765 my favr. at 30 days
right on Thomas Walker Esqr. for £50 Sterling which please to present for Accp
tance, if refus'd payment please to return with Protest per 1st opportunity, be having
Depositted a Pledge for the redemption of it, should it be paid place it to the Credit
of Mr Wm Smith who is using his best diligence to collect sufficient to discharge
the remainder of his Debt, I am Yur most huml. Servant

Inclos'd you have Sales of your 11 Hhds & 2 Teirces of
Muscovado Sugars you left in my hands for Sale neat proceeds £329.14 10[?]2 Lmo.
pass'd to Credit of your Accott. Currtt, they all fetchd 48/per Ct. & if had been
kept till now would have sold for more, being scarcer then I apprehended,
however I made a better sale o them than any that was dispos'd of at that
time. have paid Mr. Boswell what I was in Cash for them & in a few days
expect to collect what is Outstanding being in sure hands which will be paid
him agreeable to your orders, I am with tender of my best services

I duly Recd. your favr. of 15th Inst. Inclos'd Jospeh Balls
Bill pon Morsse & Bayly your favr. foro £50 Sterling which will dispose of for
the most it will fetch & pass the same to your Credit, & whenever you can send
the Ballance conveniently it will be accetable, observe your Vessell is
sold at Jamaica there being no Sugar to be had, could she procur'd any, they
would have some to a fine Market, I am with mind & Mrs. Lloyds Compy
to you Mrs. & Miss Bowler
