early Spring supply & be a means of obtaining a readier Sale &
better price than Ordinary at that time of the Year at foot you have
the present price Currtt. but as no Vessels are arriv'd can't be depended on. Wheat & Bread are now in demand. you'll
particulary oblige me by a Remittance for any Ballance, being I do assure

As fewer Vessells than common went to the South-
ward last fall on Accott. of the difficulties occasion'd by the Stampt
Act our usal Spring supply of Grain & Provisions will of course fall
short & give an opening for a quick Sale & good price, the present price
Currtt. you have at foot which as no vessells are arrived at cant be dpended on Mr. Winnsett is like to pay but a Triffle, Mr.
McIntyre is yet in expectation of your sending the Tobacco &
was a good deal disappointed in not having it before. I am Your most hnble Sert

Week for Portsmouth offer'd to sell me his Sloop shall be oblig'd to you
if you will examine her & let me know her Dimensions & age the Con-
dition of her Hull & how she is found & what is the lowest price to be paid in Rhode
Island lawfull Money Bills, which now are I'm told in very good
Credit, I want a Vessell for the Coasting Trade about 50 Tons
Burthen that will carry Two Hights of Molasses Hhds if you
know of one besides Capt. Haynes please to advise.
