Trillium cernuum — Calix. Perianth of 3 ovate, acu= =minated patentent leaves; per= =sisting. (deep green)
Corol. 3 ovate acuminated pe= =tals; patent reflected nearly of ye size & shape of ye Calix. (milk-white)
Stam. 6 subulated filamts erect — short — Anth. oblong, flatish, erect Or most commonly 6 — of ye length of ye filamts
Pist. Germ. ovate, with 8 acute angles projected. Stiles ben erect, with 2 groves or channels — long= =er yn ye Stam. Stigmata in two parallell lines along ye inner grove of ye Stile & some what reflected at ye apex.
Perecap. Capsule with 4 cells — (ye cells separated in ye center of ye Capsule) — Seeds many — round =ish

(17) Stems round smooth — erect — terminating in 3 leaves — — nearly roundish, tho very acute at apex — Large veins — leaf appears like arum — large veins — ye fruit stalk pendent, short, rises from ye center of ye 3 leaves on ye top of ye stalk — so yt ye stalk terminates in a pendent flower. Blossom white — In wet land. Grows by Mr. Pecks fence — between Dr. & John Whipples & a long down to ye meadow —
June 10 — Holosteum. (very exact) — (New Sp.) Leaves ovate; acute acuminated; opposite; half embracing ye Stem. Very few small, short hairs — Stem nearly round some wt hairy — branched — jointed — tall but hardly able to support itself — a little sticky — Blossoms white — plenty in garden & rich plowed ground.

Calix. Perianth of one leaf, deeply divided into 5 unequal, acumi= =nated , entire patent segments, leaves; placed on ye fruit (or above), — perforated, persisting & crowning ye fruit
Corol. One Petal; cylindrical, some wt bellied on one side & concave on ye other. The limb divided into 5 roundish Segmts nearly erect, — the 2 lower ones somewt patent. base perferated. deciduous
The base of ye tube projected on one side, containing ye nec= =tarium.
Nectrm in a projection of ye base on one side of ye Stile — numerous small glands collected into & form a protuberated body.

Stigma caputate, larger The Apex divid some wt divided by in 3 parts by a channel or grove, just distinguishable by ye eye. The Stile pases thro: ye corol on one side ye Nectar.; & thro ye calix.
Perecarp. three cells oblong, some wt triangular but scarcely percep= =table; fleshy — 3 cells, crowned. with ye calix.
Seeds 3 oblong & compressed. one in each cell. The fruit when ripe has ye appearance of a red-berry with considerable pulp.
