One species — Close spike like —
panicle.
Cal. 2 Val. nearly equal. (When
seed ripe expanding) pointed.
Col. (bivalvis) 2 Val. Exterior valve
largest rolled round round ye
in interior V. — & intirely inclosing
it — terminates in a thread shaped
Arista, jointed at ye base, & surround
with a kind of tuft of white
short hairs. The Arista very little
twisted — but seems to be is
channeled on one side. The
upper part — seems to be a little
spreading & flattish with fine short hairs
or feathers — but too very short & minute so
as to be very distinctly seem to examine
