This Indenture Witnesseth,

That William Bond Son of Thomas Bond of
Plymouth in the County of Devon Druggist as well
of his own free Will as by and with the Consent and
Approbation of his said Father testified by his being
a party to and executing those presents ----
doth put himself an Apprentice to Roger Berryman Symons of Plymouth
aforesaid Goldsmith
to learn his Art, and with him after the manner of an Apprentice, to serve from the Day of the
Date hereof ----- unto the full End and Term of Seven -----
Years, from thence next ensuing, and fully to be compleat and ended; during which Term the said Apprentice his
said Master ----- faithfully shall and will serve. His --- Secrets keep, his ---
lawful Commandments every where gladly do. He shall do no Damage to his said Master - nor
see it to be done of others; but to his Power shall Lett or forthwith give Notice to his said Master
--- of the same. The Goods of his said Master Ro- he shall not waste nor lend them
unlawfully to any. Hurt to his said Master R he shall not do, nor cause or procure to be done.
he shall neither Buy or Sell without his said Master's -- Leave Taverns, Inns or
Ale-Houses he shall not haunt. At Cards, Dice or Tables, or any other unlawful Game he shall not
Play. Matrimony he shall not contract nor from the Service of his
said Master -- by Day nor Night shall Absent himself; but in all Things as an honest and
faithful Apprentice shall, and will demean and behave himself towards his said Master ---
and all Persons during all the said Term. And the said Roger Berrymore Symons for and in
Consideration of the Sum of Thirty one pounds & ten shillings of lawful Money of Great-Britain, to him in
Hand well and truly paid by the said Thomas Bond -- (the Receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged) the Said Apprentice in the Art or Trade of a Goldsmith ----- which
he now useth; shall Teach and Instruct, or cause to be Taught and Instructed the best way and manner that
he can; finding and allowing his said Apprentice, during the said Term sufficient Meat, Drink
Lodging, fit for an Apprentice of his Degree and the said -
Thomas Bond doth hereby for himself his Exors and -
Admors covenant and promise to and with the said
Roger Berryman Symons that he or they during the
Term aforesaid shall and will find and provide for
the said William Bond fit and convenient Cloathe of
all sorts and also washing - - - - - - - -

And for the true Performance of all and every the Covenants and Agreements afore-said, either of the said
Parties above-said bindeth himself unto the other, firmly by these Presents. In Witness whereof the Said Parties
above-said, to these Indentures, (beingly duly stamp'd) interchangeably, have set their Hands and Seals the second
