Description

Oil of Turpentine. "Turpentine" was the name originally applied to the exudate of terebinth trees (Pistacia spp.), now called Chian, Chios, or Cyprian turpentine. Later the term was expanded to include the oleoresin (crude turpentine) and the essential oil (oil of turpentine) of various conifer trees.
