Cancer

This seldom admits of a Cure, Unless by Extripation, and therefore
the best way is to use Paliatives, Such as Saturnine and Anodyne
Medicines outwardly, with a frequent Use of Laxatives and Mercurials
inwardly, avoiding every Thing that is irritating,
and giving Opiates when necessary.

Rx. Garget Leaves. White Lilly Roots, Squooooonk Cabbage. Meadow
Plantain aa Contus. & Squeeze out the Juice and let it Stan in the Sun untill
it Grows Thick to lb. j of [?] Juice add Ol. Ursa oz. j. Ol. Serpt. Rattle dr. ss apply this
as a Plaister with a piece of Black Silk &c.
Rx. Fol. Puleg. Saturcia, Fever Bush, Sassafras aa Coq. in aq. Font.
Colat. dulcify cum Mellis Let this be drank as a tea to Defend
