held at Dedham Nov 7th 1785 Present
Drs Sprague, Wales, Barker, Thaxter, Hewins,
Morrill, Richardson, Norton, Adams,
Willard and Draper. Dr Hewins in
the Chair. Passed the following Votes
1st
To defer the choice of a President, Secretary
and Counsellors till some future Meeting
2dly
To choose a Secreatry pro Tempore and
two other Members; who, with the Secretary
pro Tem, shall be a Committee to attend
the Business and exercise the Power
vested in the Council by Article ye 5th
accordingly Dr Draper was chosen
