Shipped by the Grace of God, in good Order and Condition by {Anthony Bacon & Co} for {Mister} {Joseph} Antt of Sheffield in and upon the good Ship call'd the Lydia wherof is Master, under God, for this present Voyage, James Scott and now riding at Anchor the River Thames and by God's Grace bound for Boston to say One {Hundred} & One Box {Merchandise} being mark'd and number'd as in the Margin, and are to be deliver'd in the like good Order, and Condition, at the aforesaid Port of Boston (the Danger of the Seas only excepted) unto {Mister} John Simmons or to his Assigns, paying Freight for the said Goods Three pounds & two pence currency with Primage and Avarage accustom'd, in witness whereof the Master or Purser of the said Ship hath affirmed to two Bills of Lading, all of this Tenor and Date; the one of which two Bills being accomplish'd, to other to stand void. And so God send the good Ship to her desir'd Port in Safety. Amen. Dated in London 1 May 1766.

One Cask, one Box, Twenty Bundles of 120 Barrs of Steel to weighing 20 ,, _ ,, 16. On account of Invoice.

being marked and numbered as in the Margin and are to be delivered in the good Order and well - conditioned at the said Port of Boston in New England . . . (the Danger of the Seas only Excepted unto Order: . . . or to their assigns he or they paying Freight for the said Goods One Pound Eighteen {Shillings} & {8 pence}. {Lawful Money?}(CAN'T WORK OUT))

Shipped by the Grace of God, in good Order and Condition, by John Sherwood in and upon the good Ship call'd the Lydia whereof is Master, under God, for this present Voyage, James Scott and now riding at Anchor in the River Thames and by God's Grace bound for Boston to say, EN One Box of Books on Account of Elizabeth Newberry No.1 of Windsor in Connecticut being mark'd and number'd as in the Margin, and are to be delivered in the like good Order, and Condition, at the aforesaid Port of Boston (the Danger of the Seas only excepted) unto Andrew Oliver Esquire or to his Assigns, he or they paying Freight for the said Goods one Shilling and Seven Pence Lawfull money with Primage and Avarage accustom'd. In witness whereof the Master or Purser of the said Ship hath affirmed to two Bills of Lading, all of this Tenor and Date; the one of which --- Bills being accomplished, the other --- to stand void. And so God send the good Ship to her desired Port in Safety. Amen. Dated in London the 7th day of May 1766 Contents unknown to James Scott
