To leave the Colony one has to make a
declaration to the Clerk of the Royal Seat of the Place that
you live and provide a surety unless one
not prefer to insert the notice of his departure in
three successive gazettes and to take out a certificate
for the Clerk to note that there is (are) no point
of oppositions.

In the case of a deposit we offer
the first to come and the Clerk accepts it, the most
often it is even one of the soldiers of the Garrison
