Of laugh delicious, & laborius wit ~
Aspatius, & dost thou still maintain,
And hug the infidel that would destroy
Or drown thy soul in sordid pleasures sea,
Whose false delights may chance to cost thee pain,
And with the Debauche, tomorrow own
May land the in the deepest vault in hell,
Where sad experience may a lesson teach,
Tho then too late to shake the shackles off.,
That infidelity has riveted,
And bound thee close, that gives thee no reprieve
To live, to laugh, then tumble off the stage,
And tumbling make the swift eternal leap,
That lands thy rational in worlds unknown,
Or as thy infidelity suggests,
To drop thee instantaneous into naught;
The trembling thot would raise a better faith,
And teach thee truth of an eternal date ~
Aspatius, canst thou still in unbelief
