Of an eternal age, or drowse one half
That long eternity away unknown,
As your credentials & your faith advise,
Twould burst the shackles off & liberate,
Thy soul in bondage to so dread a fate,
That devils, tho in hell could scarcely wish ~
The constant longings of thy active soul,
Would prove its essence almost all divine,
That wanders thro' the void of space immense,
And boldly tries excursions uncontrold,
To distant worlds as high as thot can reach,
With instant leap & unlaborious too,
Without the tiresom toil, that ends in pain,
Or yeilding pleasure so replete & rich
That it would wish no more, but thirsting still,
For immortality, that swims in bliss
Twould make the soul exclaim I will not die ~
Aspatius seems resolvd, on what! on life
Immortal, & to change his grovling faith
With all the [?] of libertines that sport
