The art of preserving Health On Air Book first.
Hail Sovereign Paeon! Hail Celestial pow'r! Fair resident, to grace the verdent Bower, Whose smiles luxuriant crowns fair Natures train Of essences, unnumber'd o'er the blooming Plain; And on the verdent life with glad surprise, Bestows a rural joy, that never dies: Descend to bless O! thou auspicious fair! And crown with health divine the morbid year; Should wanton sports invite thy steps abroad To march with hurry o'er the western road, On wings Aerial bid the breezes swell, And stretch thy wings submissive to the gale; On rigid pinions let the Northern breeze, With hollow blasts convulse the lab'ring trees, Diffusing life thro' all the vast domains, Of Earth, divided into hills and Plains; So shall the spacious Earth and Sea and Air, Thy rich perfumes in richest bounty share.
