Dear Dr. Van Waters
Please except this note as an apology, a deep apology.
I feel I failed you, miserably to say I am sorry from the depth of my heart, is to put it mild.
I am sorry I did not speak loudly enough. I do know how it must have been, as I am deaf in my left ear.
Perhaps that is one of the
[left page] reasons I did not speak loud. I also thought the "mike" was on. I did not want to shout.
Need I say again I am very sorry.
Now may I say to you how very wonderful of you to include me at your lovely dinner with your most honored guest.
Dr. Van Waters you're proved beyond a shadow of a doubt
