My most precious gift to you for Mother's Day is this spiritual bouqet.

You and your intentions will be remembered in a NOVENA of MASSES to be begun on Mother's Day, and in the Mass each day until the Novena is completed.

These Holy Masses will be offered by the missionaries of the S.V.D Catholic Universities, and during these nine days you will also be remembered in their prayers.

My Dear Mrs Van Waters,

Rec. your most welcome and appreciated letters and I was more than pleased to hear from you and that "Dr. Van Waters" will be home on the 18th. I am so sorry to hear of Miss O Keefe and I hope it wasn't anything serious.

Well I must tell you a little more about my work. I am still on the same ward
