5. During illness:
a. Employees may seek medical attention at Clinic in regular hours.
b. Employees may receive certsin medicines without charge.
c. Employees may remain in hospital under doctors care for two weeks. This time may be extended upon consideration of the hospital administration.

Holidays

The hospital observes the following holidays:
New Year's Day
Washington's Birthday
Patriots Day
Memorial Day
Fourth of July
Labor Day
Columbus Day
Armistice Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day

The hospital cannot close holidays, so some employees must work on each holiday. In such cases, the employee will be given another day off in place of the holiday. Payment for holidays worked instead of time off will be made only in case of emergency.

Keys

It is important to keep keys always in your possession. Lost keys must be reported at once to your de-

partment head. Keys must be returned when employee leaves, before receipt of last check, or a charge will be made for the cost of the keys.

Leave of Absence

Leave of absence for sufficient cause may be obtained from the Director.

Lost and Found

Please report any articles either lost or found to your department head.

Mail

Incoming mail is distibuted twice a day by the Business Office to department head offices, where it may be claimed.
Outgoing mail is collected at time marked on collection boxes, which are located:
a. In corridor between Service Building and Administration Building.
b. Outside East Wing Office
c. Outside West Wing Offices.

Promotions and Transfers

It is the policy of the hospital to promote its own employees ahead of outside applicants to positions for which they are qualified. If an employee desires to advance by means of a transfer from one department heads. A consultation with the Personnel Department is advised.
