Dear Dr. Van Waters
I know you will be sad to learn that my mother, Betty Tenney, died last Sunday night in her sleep.
You were a good friend of hers, I know, and your continued interest in her wellbeing meant a lot to her. Thank you for all your help.
Sincerely yours,

Dear Dr. Van Waters
I'm writing this to let you know I sympathize with you deeply. Your Father was a verywonderful kind gentleman. Every time I've heard him speak I've felt the better for it. He put new tenderness and kindness in my heart and took all the harshness and hardness out of it.
Once again I want to say I'm sorry for your loss but I am sure he'll find his place waiting for him above next to God.
With heart felt sympathy I am, just one of your Students, Annie Poole

Dear Dr. Van Waters, I was wondering if you were able to call Mrs Fiske concerning a job you had in mind for me. I will be very appreciative if you will let me know when she will come to interview me.
Thank you
