Miss Elizabeth Truesdale State Farm South Bridgewater, Massachusetts

Dear Elizabeth:

I was glad to get your nice letter of July 15.

I asked Mrs. Spence to help check up on anything you might have left behind, and she tells me that all the listed articles belonging to Elizabeth Truesdale were sent out March 21, 1950.

Miss O'Keefe's mother is quite ill, but we hope to have her back in a few days.

I hope all goes well with you.

Sincerely yours,

Miriam Van Waters, Superintendent

This is is to inform you that I havent been successful I'm trying to place Melba Tyler. On a job. after telling Them when she is coming from. they don't want to Take the chance.

One of the jobs was very good was a nurse maid for 20.00 per wk. room and board I told the lady you would come out and tell her about Melba But she was afraid she wouldn't be honest.

I will still try but it is awfully hard. No one seems to want to them even if you say they are a state ward. if I can possibley tend her place I will certainly do so. As for myself I am out. Unless I give up the boys and I dont then!? that would Be the wiser thing to do I find in this kindly work If one put themself out To do a kinddeed it doesn't seem to be appreciated.
