THIS DEED made this 29th day of November, A.D. 1937, by Comer Covington and Frances W. Covington, of Guilford County, and State of North Carolina, parties of the first part, to J. Paul Sanders, of Guilford County, and State of North Carolina, party of the second part,

WITNESSETH: That the said parties of the first part, in consideration of Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars to them paid by said party of the second part, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, have bargained and sold and by these presents do bargain, sell and convey unto said party of the second part and his heirs, a tract or parcel of land in the County of Guilford and the State of North Carolina, in High Point Township, and described as follows, viz:

"Being Lots "C" Numbers 4, 61, 5 & 62 of "Block A" of "Oakwood Cemetery Addition", as per a plat thereof duly recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds of Guilford County, North Carolina, in Plat Book 7, at Page 71 to which reference is hereby had for full particulars as to location and description.

To have and to hold the aforesaid tract or parcel of land and all privileges and appurtenances thereto belonging to him, the said party of the second part and his heirs and assigns forever, but subject always to all of the reservations, restrictions, limitations and uses set out in that certain deed of conveyance heretofore made by said Park Cemetery Company to C. M. Kephart, dated the 25th day of August, 1925, and recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds of Guilford County, North Carolina, in Book 496, at Page 127, to which reference is hereby had for said reservations, restrictions, limitations and uses."

The above description is taken from deed of The Park Cemetery Company to Comer Covington.

"The above land was conveyed to grantor by OwnA-Home Company, See Book 454, page 478."

And said parties of the first part doth covenant that they are seized of said premises in fee and have the right to convey the same in fee simple; that the same are free from encumbrances, and that they will warrant and defend the said title to the same against the claims of all persons whomsoever.

STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA COUNTY OF MARLBORO

This 3 day of December, 1937 personally came before me, L. M. Morrison, a Notary Public of said County and State, W. H. Bellinger, who being by me duly sworn, says that he saw Comer Covington and Frances W. Covington sign the foregoing instrument, and that he the said W. H. Bellinger signed his name in attestation of the execution of said instrument in the presence of Comer Covington and Frances W. Covington. Let the said deed and this certificate be registered.
