The Garden Club met Feb. 8th at the Country
Club sharing our program with the Mid-
week Garden Club. The pres. called the meeting to
order and after expressing delight over program
for morning, turned the meeting over to Mrs. Clark,
Chrm. of pro. committee.

Mrs. Allred sang two very appropriate selections.

Mrs. Slane gave us two readings, "The Catalog
Garden" and "Hollyhocks" both by Guest.

Then our speaker for morning Mr. John Blair was
introduced by Mrs. J. D. Cox. Mr. Blair suggested
making our town and highways more beautiful
by the use of shrubs and trees. He then gave a
most interesting illustrated lecture using slides
from scenes of nature.
