This Deed, Made this the 18th day of April 1918
by W. P. Ragan and his wife Elizabeth G. Ragan
of Guilford County and State of North Carolina, parties of the first part
to W. B. McFarland & wife Semyra McFarland of Guilford County
and State of North Carolina, party of the second party,

Witnesseth, That the said parties of the first part, in consideration of ($125.00)
One Hundred and Twenty Five dollars, to them paid by the said party of the
second part, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, have bargained and sold, and by these presents do
bargain, sell and convey unto said party of the second part and their heirs a tract or parcel of land in the County
of Guilford and State of North Carolina, in High Point Township,
adjoining the lands of Henry Pitts, Stevenson and others, and
bounded as follows:

Being lot No. 4 in Book "A" in L. H. Campbell
division of N. E. Welborn lands, which plot is duly
recorded in the Register of Deeds Office for
Guilford County N. C. in Book no. 2,
page 58.

This Lot is 64 1/2 feet front on Church street and
64 1/2 feet in rear and bounded as follows:

Beginning at a stake on church street, south west
corner of lot no. 5; thence with said street
south 62 deg. 50 min West 64 1/2 feet to a stake;
thence north 23 deg, 30 min West 82 feet to a
stake; thence north 78 deg, east 64 1/2 feet to
a stake; thence south 23 deg and 30 min east
75 1/2 feet at the beginning.

The above land was conveyed to grantor by R. R. Ragan

To have and to hold, The aforesaid tract or parcel of land and all privileges and appurtenances there-
unto belonging to the said party of the second part and their heirs and assigns forever.

And the said parties of the first part do covenant that they are seized of said premises in
fee and have the right to convey the same in fee simple; that the same are free from incumbrances; and that
they will warrant and defend the said title to the same against the claims of all persons whatsoever.
