GUILFORD COUNTY

THIS DEED made this the 18th day of June 1932 by
R. F. Jones, trustee, party of the first part. to Alberta Corbett
Snider, party of the second part, both of Guilford County, North
Carolina,

WITNESSETH, that whereas on November 6th 1924, Edwin
J. Burns and wife, Fancis J. Burns, executed and delivered to the
said party of the first part a deed of trust to secure the payment
of a note to Bettie Corbett, which deed of trust is recorded in
the office of the register of deeds for Guilford County, N. C. in
book 468 page 79, and whereas default has been made in the payment
of said note and demand for foreclosure has been made by the holder
thereof; and whereas the said party of the first part did, after
due advertisement as required by law and as provided in said deed of
trust, offer for sale to the highest bidder, on the premises, on
June 6th 1932 at three o'clock P. M. subject to unpaid taxes and
street assessments, the land described in said deed of trust, and at
said auction sale the said Alberta Corbett Snider became the last
and highest bidder for the price of One Thousand Dollars, and whereas
more than ten days have expired and no increased bid has been filed,
and the said purchase price is paid.

NOW THEREFORE, the said party of the first part, in
consideration of the premises and in consideration of the sum of
$1000.00 to him in hand paid by the said party of the second part,
the reciept of which is hereby acknowledged, has bargained and sold
and does by these presents bargain, sell and convey unto the said
party of the second part and her heirs, the following described
lot or tract of land situated in High Point Township, Guilford
Count, N.C.,:

Adjoining the lands of J. Burns, Nannie F. Byrum and
others, Beginning at a stake the southwestof Allred and Campbell
streets, running thence along the line of Campbell Street in a
western direction 78 1/4 feet, more or less to a stake, corner of
Nannie F. Byrum; thence in a southern direction with the line of
Nannie F. Byrum 148 feet, more or less to a stake, corner of Nannie
F. Byrum in J . Burns Line, thence along the line of said Burns
in a eastern direction 70 1/2 feet, more or less, to a stake on
west side of Allred street; thence in a northern direction with
the line of said Allred Street 149 feet, more or less, to the
beginning, containing 11,100 sq. ft. more or less.

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD said premises and all appurtenances
thereunto belonging unto the said party of the second part and her
heirs and assigns forever, subject however to unpaid taxes and
street assessments, in as full and ample a manner as the said party
of the first part is empowered to convey the same.

In witness whereof the said party of the first part
has hereunto signed his name and affixed his seal the day and year
first above written.
