Crowd in cocktail pier. We are supposed to furnish liquor as they have no license. Dinner & to bedroom. Mrs. Ward came in for visit till 9:30.

2-21 Rain in early AM. To Chockaloske Island, very old & primitive. Lunch at Oyster Bar - local color interesting & good ham sand! Up Rt 29 to see deserted village & back to Marco Beach. Too windy - bumpy ride back at high tide. Drink in room & early dinner at S. Lodge. They eat & rise late.

Fr. 2-22 Up & off as soon as boat available 7 A.M. Too late for birds on T. Trail. Down keys - left things in room on Largo. Early lunch at Trop. Winds, yummy Keylime pie! On down to Pigeon - deserted since no more tolls. Back to room where we ate cheese crackers and coffee in room.
