whelk. After lunch checked out. Took Mrs. Smith to L. Home but found little. 4'oclock ferry. To Pine Island where I found room at jct of N-S road. Foam rubber pillows, earplugs a/c peepers in puddles from heavy rain, but little sleep.

Th 3/7 Thought I had myself locked in, but no. Left sweater map + book on porch, returned 8 miles to get them. Lunch beside the road. Phoned Lena Dickson and found her place with no trouble. She glad to see me & gave me her bed. Talked & talked!

Fri 3/8 To Orlando on bus for lunch & hair ribbon. Found dress for Chip's wedding at Ivey's. Exact fit, even sleeves. $51.45 but worth it -nicest Bridal Consultant. Also sent Ruth hanger covers & got some to take Marion. Left Lena in aft & came as far as Leesburg. Poinsettia Motel. Cold + windy.
