Date 6 / 2-3 / 55 Place Myrtle Beach Left 1 P.M. - 13 miles to Shirley Hwy. Got Gulf gas - oil pressure lowering at high speed but not as bad as before. By the time I had gone 10 miles from Emporia Janie smelling hot. Radiator boiling. Colored boy flushed rad. one plug cap not on tight. Nut off generator bolt (not lost) & fan belt not working! Lost an hour, but got it fixed. Gulf gas didn't feed regularly so I'll use Esso as always. Reached M. B. by 3 PM - 456 miles from S. S. Armbrusts & Mike F. over at night.

Date 6-22-55 Place MB to HP - 5:20am to 11am 198 m.
6-27 - HP to SS 6:15 am - 2:30 PM 328 m. 7-5 - Left SS 5:50 AM. Having to go 35MPH over a hot road & temp up in 90s terrible! By the time we reached Wilton Janie in bad shape. 288 m in 11 hours! Dan located trouble & next AM man in Westport fixed - Coil wire badly burned & wire to dist worn out! I'm beginning to dislike Mac! Hit Boston bypass & rain at 500 miles since ring job & Janie did OK. Reached Shack by 8:45 P.M. 648 miles from Siver Spg.

Date 5/31/56 Place S.S. to Scarsdale 7:30-4 with 4 stops. Hot day but Honey behaved! Cooled off in County Center where I spent an hour or more shopping & phoning.

Date 9/13/56 Place Christmas Cove to S. Spg Left 10:15 lunch by road. Birches in aft sun. Cannon lift & Grt stone face. N. Woodstock where Honey aligned & cabin across the street.
9/14 Left after breakfast. To Warren & Museum. Passed Todd house - not sold. Down Vt side of Conn River. Lunch in St. Pk by river - lots of bees. Thru Troy by hook or crook & found motel west of Albany.
9/15 - 30 mi before breakfast. West on #20 around head of Finger Lakes - lovely home & views stopped for fruit. Rainy & races at Watkins Glen, so around about. Night at Savona. Supper in room.
9/16 - Turned cold but cleared. Late start, after br to Corning Glass Center - Fine Museum. On down thru Pa, dinner near
