yesterday saying she would stay a while

I cannot tell you how glad I was, felt
that it would make up for Mary's and
Lulas absence. I know she was surpris
-ed and disappointed when she reciev
-ed C's telegram. Yesterday the usual
Mondays papers came I read all my
head and eyes would, about 3 P.M. Gracie
came to practice she had not been
gone long when Estell and Jessie R.
came before they left Eva Thurton came
and stayed till night all enquired
particularly about you and sent love
Estelle brought me nice grapes Mrs.
Clark came and sat till bed time apo
-logised for coming the day before.

My friends are very kind seem anxious
to do something for my pleasure

Miss Nannie came home Friday night
