Friday Morn.

Must take time for a word.
After dinner Wed. H. asked
if I would like to go down town
and take the Whaleback to Fair
grounds to see fireworks, of
course I would. Geo. would
have gone too, but it was prayer
meeting night. The boat carries
5000 and seemed pretty full.
Can't take time to write it up
now, but it was "just too lovely
for anything". Did not leave the
boat. H said it was the finest
he had seen. Got home about 11.
Yesterday was my Fair day,
and today I go with G. to
the Lake, I was mistaken
about his remaining, will
probably come in with him
next time he goes out.
