First of all, I want to say, I loved my
Grandma so very much. She was truly an
Angel from heaven.

She worked at Highland Cotton Mill from
the time she was twelve years old, when
she had to stand on a box to reach her
winder, until she retired at age 62.

She was a wife, a mother, a grandmother,
a great grandmother, and a caregiver for
her whole family. My, Ma was the backbone
of our family. She prayed for all of us
daily. She was always there for my brother,
Scott and myself. When my daughter, Lauren,
was born, Ma was right there helping
everyway she could. Helping with her
prayer's for Lauren and her Godly wisdom
and advice.

When my daughter, Lauren, was 17 months old,
my mom, Doris Morris discovered she had
a brain tumor and died five years later.
My Ma helped so much raising and caring
for Lauren until Ma passed away.

The Godly values that she instilled in myself
and Lauren, money cannot buy. I feel myself
and Lauren are who we are today, because of our
Ma.

Ma was born January 19, 1905 & passed
away at the age of 87 years old.
