This Deed Made this the 25th day of February 1929 by W. C. Ferree & W. K. Nance and their wifes Ester. R. Ferree and Hazel H. Nance of Guilford County and State of North Carolina, parties of the first part, to Henry D. Perry of Guilford County and State of North Carolina, party of the second part:

Witnesseth, That the said parties of the first part, in consideration of $10.00 Ten & No/100 Dollars to him paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, has have bargained and sold, and by these presents do bargain, sell and convey unto the said party of the second part and his heirs a tract or parcel of land in the County of Guilford and State of North Carolina, in High Point, Township, adjoining the lands of [blank] and others, and bounded as follow: Being Lots Numbers 65-66-67-68-69-70-71-72 and 73 of "Will-O-Heights" property of Mrs. S. E. Willis, map of which is only recorded in the Register of Deeds office for Guilford County, N.C. Book 6, Page 158. Lots Nos. 65-66-67-68- and 69 are 25 feet by 150 feet each. Lot No.70 is 150 feet deep on south side 119 feet deep on the north side 25 feet front 40 feet in the rear. Lot No. 71 is 119 feet deep on south side 87 feet deep on north side, 25 feet front 40 feet in the rear. Lot No. 72 is 87 feet deep on south side, 56 feet deep on north side, 25 foot front, 40 feet in rear. Lot No. 73 is 56 feet deep on south side, 45 foot front and 72 feet along Southern Railroad Ry.

The above land was conveyed to grantor by Cora E. Willis. See Book No. 551, Page 555, etc.

To have and to hold the aforesaid tract or parcel of land and all privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging to the said party of the second part and [blank] heirs and assigns forever.

And the said parties of the first part does covenant that They are seized of said premises in fee and Has the right to convey the same in fee simple; that the same are free from incumbrances; and that They will warrant and defend the said title to the sme against the claims of all persons whatsoever.

I, J. W. Quattlebaum, Notary Public of said County, do hereby certify that W. C. Ferree & W. K. Nance and their wives Ester R. Ferree & Hazel H. Nance grantors, personally appeared before me this day and acknowledged the execution of the foregoing deed of conveyance, and the said Ester R. Ferree & Hazel H. Nance being by me privately examined, separate and apart from their said husband, touching her voluntary execution of the same, doth state that she signed the same freely and voluntarily, without fear or compulsion of her said husband or any other person and that she doth still voluntarily assent thereto. Let the said deed and this certificate be registered.
