This Deed Made this 23rd day of January, A. D. 1940, by Sun-Set Dairies, Inc., a corporation duly organized under the laws of the State of North Carolina, with its principal office in Guilford County, North Carolina, party of the first part, to Arch K. Schoch, Jr. and his wife Louise Rodes Schoch of Guilford County and State of North Carolina, party of the second part, Witnesseth, That the said party of the first part, in consideration of ($10.000) TEN DOLLARS and other valuable considerations, to it paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, has bargained and sold and by these presents does bargain, sell and convey unto said party of the second part and their heirs, a tract or parcel of land in the County of Guilford and State of North Carolina, in High Point Township, adjoining the lands of [blank] and others and bounded as follows, viz.:

Being lots 28, 29, 30 and 31 of "Forest Park" revised map No. 2 of which sub-division appears in Book of Plats 9 at page 60 in the office of the Register of Deeds for Guilford County.

The above land was conveyed to grantor by Henry D. Perry See Book [blank] Page [blank]

To Have and to Hold the aforesaid tract or parcel of land and all privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging to [blank] the said party of the second part and their heirs and assigns forever.

And said party of the first part doth covenant that it is seized of said premises in fee and has the right to convey the same in fee simple; that the same are free from incumbrances, and that it will warrant and defend the said title to the same against the claims of all persons whomsoever.

In Testimony Whereof, The said party of the first part has caused this deed to be signed in its corporate name by its President and attested by its Secretary, and sealed with its common corporate seal, on the day and year first above written.

STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA - GUILFORD COUNTY

This [blank] day of January, A. D. 1940, personally came before me a Notary Public, of said County and State, Edith H. Perry who being by me duly sworn, says that she knows the common seal of Sun-Set Dairies, Inc. and is acquainted with Henry D. Perry who is President of said corporation, and that she, the said Edith H. Perry, is the Secretary of the said corporation, and saw the said President sign the foregoing instrument, and that she, the said Edith H. Perry Secretary as aforesaid, affixed said seal to said instrument, and that she, the said Edith H. Perry, signed [her] name in attestation of the execution of said instrument in the presence of said President of said corporation. Let the said deed and this certificate be registered.

Witness my hand and official seal, this the 23rd day of January, 1940.
