what is "cho"?

High Point Museum

Hi mimeo! I believe it's actually "chs", an abbreviation for "chains". According to https://www.ntc.blm.gov/krc/uploads/940/BLM_Land_Status_L1_Studyguide.pdf, a chain is a land surveying term that is equal to 66 feet.
