State of North Carolina, Guilford County.

This Deed, Made this the Twenty-Eighth day of January A.D. 1916, by W.C. Jones and his wife, Carey Ogburn Jones, of Guilford County and State of North Carolina, parties of the first part, to Bettie Corbit, of Guilford County, and State of North Carolina, party of the second part:

Witnesseth, That the said parties of the first party, in consideration of ($10.00) Ten Dollars, and other good and valuable considerations, to them paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, have bargained and sold, and by these presents do bargain, sell and convey unto the said party of the second part and her heirs a tract or parcel of land in the County of Guilford and State of North Carolina, in High Point Township, adjoining the lands of E.A. Snow and others, and bounded as follows:

Beginning at a stake of West side of Hamilton Street, E.A. Snow's corner; thence along Snow's line Westwardly, one hundred and fifty feet to a stake; thence about South sixty five feet to a stake; thence Eastwardly one hundred and fifty feet to a stake; thence Northwardly on Hamilton Street sixty five feet to the beginning, containing, nine thousand square feet, more or less, and being all that tract or parcel of land as conveyed to W.C. Jones, by Ed L. Ragan, Mortgagee and Bettie Corbit, Administratrix, of E.T. Corbit, deceased, Assignee, by deed dated December 20th. 1915, which said deed is duly recorded in the office of Register of Deeds for Guilford County, N.C. in Book 274 Page 152

To Have and to Hold the aforesaid tract or parcel of land and all privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging to the said party of the second part and her heirs and assigns forever.
