I R. W. Harris of the county of Guilford & state of North Carolina being of sound mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following, that is to say Item 1 It is my will and desire that my bloved wife, Margret A. Harris shall have all of my estate both real and personal of every kind during her natural life. After her death it is my will & desire that all of my estate both real & personal shall be sold at auctionto the highest bidder for cash & divided equaly between my four children namely Franklin M. Harris, Julius W. Harris, Lelia A. Harris and Lewen W. Harris, except what shall be disposed of in other items of this will. Item 2 I give & bequeath to my son Franklin M. Harris lot number one commencing at the south corner of Martin Taylor's lot Fayetteville street turning south with said street two hundred & twenty feet front & back nearly west to the outer line of my land. Item 3 I give & bequeath to my son Julius W. Harris lot no. two adjoining and same as no. one two hundred and twenty feet south

and running back to the outer line of my land. Item 4 I give & bequeath to my dawter Lelia A. Harris & her heirs of her boddy lot no. three adjoing no. two two hundred & twenty font on said street & running back to the outer line of my land. Item 5 I give & bequeath to my son Lewen W. Harris lot no. four adjoing no. three two hundred & twenty feet font on said street running back near west along the line of lot nomber three embracing all the land that I own south of said line including all buildings except lot no. five. Item 6 I give & bequeath to my dawter Marih E. Kearns wife of Carson P. Kearns lot no. five adjoing no. four one hundred & twenty feet front on said street in front & running back near west two hundred & twenty adjoing lands of S. Pery on the south to her & the heirs of her body. Item 7 I will & bequeath all the remainds of said track of land on which I now live to my three children Franklin M. Harris, Julius W. Harris, Lelia A. Harris equal shaer & shear a like. Item 8 I give & bequeath to Roswell K. Harris one dollar in money besids what he has all ready received from me.

Item 9 I give & bequeath to my son John C. Harris one dollar in money besids what he has already received from me. Item 10 I give & bequeath to my son Romules F. Harris one dollar in money besids what he has already received from me. Item 11 I give and bequeath to my dawter Francis J. Kearns wife of Henry C. Kearns one dollar in money besids what she has already received from me. Item 12 It is my will & desire that my executors hereinafter named shall provide my body with decent burial & immediately after my death shall pay all my just debts & erect at my grave sitable tomb- stones money for same to be used out of any of my personal property. Item 13 It is my will & desire that if it any time any amount of money should be derived from an interest which I have in mineral property in Davidson Co N C said money shall be equally divided amongst all my children. Lastly I do herby constitute & appoint my wife Margret A. Harris & son Franklin M. Harris executors of this my last will & testament to execute the same according to the true intent &meaning of the same hereby revoking &

Harris on [said] day sined & sealed this instrument and published & declared the same as & for his last will & testament & we at his request & in his presence & in the presence of each other have hereinto witness our names as subscribing witnesses.
