North Carolina Guilford County

This Deed, made by J. J. Welch, Commissioner, under a judgement of the Superior Court of said County, in the special preceedings, entitled Kezia Horney, J. J. Welch and others EX PARTE to Elizebeth T. Welch of Guilford County, WITNESSETH: that WHEREAS, the said J. J. Welch, Commissioner, being thereto licensed by a judgment in said proceedings, did, on the 23rd day of April 1900, after due advertisement, expose the land hereinafter described to public sale at High Point, N. C. and then and there, the said Elizebeth T. Welch became the last and highest bidder for said land at the sum of one thousand and sixty Dollars ($1060), and has complied with the terms of sale; and WHEREAS, upon report of said sale to said Court, same was confirmed, and the said J. J. Welch, Commissioner as aforesaid, was ordered by a judgment of said Court to execute the Deed in fee simple to said purchaser upon payment of said purchase money; and WHEREAS, the said purchase money has been paid in full:

NOW, in consideration of the premises the said J. J. Welch, Commissioner as aforesaid, doth hereby bargain, sell and convey to the said Elizabeth T. Welch, her Heirs and Assigns forever, that certain parcel or lot of land, situate in said county, adjoining the lands of Ragan and Millis and Julius C. Fuller and others, and bounded as follows: Beginning at the North west corner of Ragan and Millis' lot on Salem St. and running north along said Salem St. twenty six feet to a point, D. A. Stanton's corner; thence along Stanton's line two hundred feet east (200) to a point in J. C. Fullers line; thence south along said Fuller's line twenty six (26) feet to corner Ragan and Millis' lot; thence along Ragan and Millis' line, west two hundred (200) feet to the beginning. The same being lot #1 of the Austin H. Welch property.

her, the said Elizebeth T. Welch, her Heirs and Assigns forever, in as full and ample manner as the said J. J. Welch, Commissioner as aforesaid, is authorized and empowered to convey the same.

In Witness whereof, the said J. J. Welch, Commissioner as aforesaid, hath hereunto set his hand and seal this 18th day of June 1900.
