NORTH CAROLINA ALAMANCE COUNTY

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that we, Harry Eisenberg and wife, Rebecca Eisenberg, parties of the first part, in consideration of TEN DOLLARS ($10.00), paid to us by J. W. Coltrane, party of the second part, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, by ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators agree to sell and convey to J. W. Coltrane, or his assigns, for the cost of SIXTEEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND NO/100, ($16,500.00) the following described real property:

That certain tract or parcel of land in Burlington Township, Alamance County, North Carolina, adjoining Church Street, and being the identical property conveyed to Rebecca Eisenberg by Ben Marks and wife, in Deed Book 93, page 172, to which reference is hereby made for a more detailed description.

The said J. W. Coltrane, or his assigns shall have the privilege of checking title to the above described property and accepting the same on or before January 15, 1953, or within ten days thereafter, when the said party of the second part, or his assigns have notified the parties of the first part of his, or their intentions to purchase said property. Conveyance shall be made by a warranty deed conveying a clear title free from all encumbrances, and at the time of delivery of said deed, the said parties of the first part are to be paid the sum of SIXTEEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND NO/100 ($16,500.00). All tenders and deliveries hereunder should be made at the office of W. L. Shoffner, Attorney at Burlington, N. C.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals, this the 24 day of November, 1952.

I, La Verne May, A Notary Public in and for the aforesaid County and State, do hereby certify that Harry Eisenberg, and wife, Rebecca Eisenberg, of Alamance County, North Carolina, appeared before me this day and acknowledged the due execution of this Option for the purposes therein expressed.
